On the night of Thursday 15th November, Prestige Recruitment Director, Dawn Benson, will be taking part in CEO Sleepout Hull, a charity fundraising event designed to highlight homelessness across the city.
As part of the event, Dawn will be joining local business leaders from around the Humber region – giving up her bed and sleeping underneath the stars at the KCOM stadium in Hull to raise money for those trapped by poverty in the area.
About CEO Sleepout Hull
CEO Sleepout is a national charity that was set up to fight homelessness and poverty across the UK. It relies on funding from business and community leaders who take part in special group fundraising events in cities across the country, who pledge to sleep outdoors for one night to raise awareness and generate sponsorship monies from friends and business contacts.
The money raised is put to work directly in the host cities. To date, 1900 people have taken part in the events, raised nearly £2million in support of the cause.
In Hull, CEO Sleepout will be working alongside local charities Tigers Trust and Emmaus Hull & East Riding.

Dawn commented on the upcoming event, and why it’s so important.
“Some of us are privileged to have the warmth of love and a home to keep us safe. Other are living their life in turmoil, sometimes due to the loss of a loved one, or other situations that are completely beyond their control. Those affected may not be able to cope with living day to day, which in some cases can lead to homelessness.
“My support for this project is to highlight that any one of us could be affected at some point in our lives.”
