Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Prestige Recruitment Specialists Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
The below table identifies our greenhouse gases that have been produced over the last 12-month period. The gases were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions.

Baseline Year: 2022/23
Additional Details relating to the Baseline Emissions calculations.
As this is the first period of monitoring our carbon footprint we have not reviewed the impact from period 2022/23.
Baseline year emissions:
EMISSIONS TOTAL (tCO2e)
Scope 1 11,783
Scope 2 18,346
Scope 3

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.

We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next seven years to 27,000 tCO2e by 2030, this is a reduction of 10%.

The below graph, highlights how much we are aiming to reduce the amount of C02 from now until 2050.

Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:

Carbon Reduction Initiatives
In the future we endeavour to implement further measures such as:
Energy Efficiency Program: Implement an energy efficiency program to look at reducing our energy consumption by 10% by 2030. This will include offering energy audits, providing financial incentives for energy-efficient upgrades (for example looking at renewable energy tariffs/ solar panels), and enforcing energy efficiency standards across all of our sites.

Green Transportation Initiatives: By 2030, we are looking at implementing the cycle to work program, carpooling and transferring all fleet vehicles across to hybrid/electric vehicles.

Waste Management Capture: Aim to reduce waste by 10% by 2030 through comprehensive recycling program. We are also looking an upcycling, using recycled marketing merchandise and moving over our paper forms over to a electronic platform. When needing to use paper the paper that will be used will be recycled paper.

Public Awareness Campaign: Develop a public awareness campaign about climate change, carbon reduction. We intend to run an awareness campaign across the group to make both our employees and candidates aware on how to reduce their footprint both at home and at work, eg turning off equipment and lights when not in use, limiting office temperatures, walking/cycling/public transport/car sharing.

Climate Adaptation Plan: Develop a comprehensive climate adaptation plan to address the impacts of climate change. This is also including the measures to increase resilience to extreme weather events and rising sea levels.

Tracking and Reporting Progress: Establish a robust system for tracking and reporting the carbon emissions regularly. This data will be used to monitor the effectiveness of the plan and make necessary adjustments.
