At Prestige Recruitment, mental health always comes first. As a recruitment business, we know how important staff well-being is. We work hard to ensure that all our team members and candidates benefit from a positive working environment where they are looked after and are encouraged to look after themselves. Alongside our annual wellbeing week hosted in October, we're always looking for ways to expand our mental health support throughout the business.
The last 12 months have been challenging to say the least. Nobody could’ve predicted that the world would still be in the grip of a global pandemic and that we have had to change the way we both work and live. Many people’s mental health has been hugely affected, not only due to changes in our working lives but also from the impact of restrictions on our personal lives.
With this in mind, Prestige Recruitment recognises the importance of providing support to our colleagues and workers and are pleased to announce that our HR Manager, Vicky Dolan, has obtained certification as a Mental Health First Aider for the business. The training Vicky received, through Mind, has equipped her with vital knowledge to aid signposting anyone in need to support groups and professional networks during times of need.
