Production Operative - Days

We are recruiting on behalf of our client Cranswick Country Foods Watton. Our clients is a dedicated processing facility in Norfolk producing fresh pork sausages and added value meal solutions. Watton was originally a family business which was acquired by our client in 2009. Since then they have made significant investment in the site with state of the art equipment, installation of robotics to continuously improve efficiency's. Our client despite their scale, remains a local business with traditional values. With all that in mind our client are looking to expand the day shift team and have numerous immediate opportunities for Warehouse Operatives for full time work 4on 4off. Our Client is searching for successful candidates that are reliable, flexible, self-motivated and hardworking, to which could lead to a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities include;
- Completing the daily pick requirements;
- Issuing labels, trays, etc., to production lines as required and update the system accordingly;
- Assisting with stock checks;
- Maintaining quality and trace ability documentation;
- Liaise with colleagues in other departments to ensure the throughput of all products in a timely and efficient manner;
- Assist during internal / external audits as required;
- Wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times within the production areas;
- Behaving in a safe and appropriate manner at all times;
- Maintaining high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc.;
- Adhering to all company rules and policies at all times.
We Can Offer:
- starting rate on days £10.77 (basic) & £14.36 (overtime)
- 4on 4off shift pattern – 5:00-16:00 or 06:00 – 17:00
- 36.75 weekly attendance bonus
