Prestige Recruitment Specialists have the privilege to work alongside Cottingham Parks in their search for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

With the ongoing expansion over the next couple of years, we are looking for an ideal candidate to fill the role of Hospitality, Catering and Events Manager.

You will be responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience (covering) everything from the kitchen to Front of House. As well as being responsible for planning and managing all areas of the F&B operations, including staff and finance, with a view to maximising sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. You will also be required to expand the business as it grows, including building the conference and banqueting trade, as part of making this 1 of the premier venues for Weddings in the Area.


Responsibilities


• Manage all F&B day-to-day operations including staff levels, within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
• Co-ordinate the multi-function use of all rooms (golf, conference, wedding, spa etc).
• Reference accommodation bookings for F&B requirements.
• Promote and co-ordinate across all departments
• Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
• Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to ensure these are met.
• Lead F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training staff to the required level and disciplining where and when necessary.
• Carry out appraisals to ensure customer service standards are achieved
• Establish targets, agree KPI’s, schedules, and implement policies and procedures.
• Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis in motivation and teamwork.
• Report to management regarding sales results and productivity
• Attend Head of department meetings.
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Delegate tasks as appropriate
• Develop and implement standards/policies to deliver a first-class customer service.
• Set targets and implement strategies necessary in achieving set objectives
• Ensure compliance with all H&S and food hygiene regulations and procedures.
• Designate and schedule work duties to food and beverage staff
• Carry out analysis to determine rates for food and food services
• Oversee the purchase of food items and culinary equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory of food stock and other available items
• Prepare and manage budgets to achieve set objectives and targets
• Assist in addressing customer complaints and resolving arising issues
• Present regular reports to management on work activities and generated revenues
• Review financial records to ensure balanced accounts
• Ensure the quality of produced meals is maintained
• Oversee the cleaning and upkeep of all F&B areas.
• Work with the head chef to design exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements.
• To perform other duties as required (stock take, bookings, social media).
• Communication with Club officials and other departments
• Consistently demonstrate leadership skills
• Keep up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices.
• Remain Guest-oriented and service-minded.
