The UK has reached its highest level of employment since records began, with an employment rate of 73.3% for the three months up to January 2015.
This means this is the most people that have been in work since the records began in 1971.
This news comes as the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 5.7% over this period, compared to a rate of 7.2% from the corresponding period in 2014.
Chancellor George Osborne will later give his Budget announcement for 2015 and will undoubtedly use these improving figures to support his speech.
