Based on the outskirts of Driffield
(due to location, own transport is essential)
Off season:
Monday to Thursday - Weekly rotating shift times
06-00-18:00 (days) & 18:00-06:00 (nights)
Between June-August:
Shift Working – 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off

Salary: £11.26p/h increasing to £12.22 once full training is completed
(1.25x after 38 hours worked per week)
Working at a frozen food manufacturing company. To organise and communicate with the QA Operatives and Supervisors on a daily basis to ensure effective monitoring, recording and corrective auctioning of all production line processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To check and audit all process documentation to ensure this is completed correctly and in accordance with site quality procedures.
- To audit and record findings or inspections and report any non-conformances.
- To ensure that any corrective actions are followed up and closed out.
- To ensure that products meet customer specifications.
- To ensure the correct calibration of temperature probes and scales occur and review and report monthly
- Completion and registration of the ALS system for micro testing
- To ensure Water testing is completed and sent to laboratory and documented and update
- Ensure completion of any required customer/ factory samples
- Signing off customer samples to ensure specification and quality is met
- Ensure also that such skills are maintained up-to-date Supervision of product records and quality controls.
- Ensure the supply of the weekly price list and update of promotions
- Supporting production team (non - conformances, quarantine, internal specification, process control)
- Conduct regular audits (GMP, Canteen, Fabrication, Foreign body, Internal audits)
- Conduct regular internal audits of the QA Operatives documentation, to ensure all produced paperwork can be show in a court of law without challenge.
- Inform Technical Manager weekly of any issues, deviations and reviews.
- Help ensure staff adhere to stated hygiene and personal hygiene policies.
- Assist in preparation of, and compliance during customer visits and audits within the factory.
- Aid in formulation, and training of new and amended procedures training these out to relevant personnel and auditing to ensure these are adopted and followed.
- Coordinate the work of QAS staff where required to ensure appropriate cover and necessary checks are being completed
- To oversee preproduction checks, ensuring all areas are covered.
- To carry out GMP audits, following up any non-conformances and actions required with the necessary teams, reporting any issues which cannot be resolved at the time.
- To complete background checks on equipment and factory environment to ensure that all comply with requirements, are in good working order and fit for purpose.
