HR Administrator
Prestige Recruitment Specialists are working with one of our valued clients in their search for an HR Administrator.
Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a HR Administrator to join the HR team. The HR Administrator will handle a variety of personnel related administrative duties, providing administrative support to the HR team. Support and promote a culture of engagement within the workplace. Maintains accurate records and confidentiality at all times.
Main duties include (but not limited to):
- Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related queries
- Oversee the recruitment process, including supporting Line Managers with interviews, issuing offer letters and contracts and ensuring that personnel files contain the appropriate signed documentation
- Liaise with the Training to ensure that new starters are inducted into the company and set up on the necessary systems.
- Responsibility for the administration of offer letters, terms and conditions of employment and new starter packs for new recruits in to the business. To ensure legal compliance is met and best practice followed, including all Referencing, Pension and Right to Work checks
- Communicate new starter information to Management and Payroll
- Monitor the on-boarding process for new workers, ensuring that the relevant documentation is sent/received
- Ensure that all documentation is complete, checked and saved on the HR and training systems and/or Timeware
- Forming and maintaining employee records, Participating in the management of paperless employee files
Requirements, experience and person specification :
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a Human Resource Function (desirable).
- HR Level 3 qualification (preferable)
- Experience and knowledge of FMCG (desirable).
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- IT literate, able to work confidently with email, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and shows resilience
- Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, prioritise and deal with large volumes of work to a high degree of accuracy, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills.
