Health & Safety and Environmental Manager
Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to work within a large manufacturing organisation. The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH general certificate and Food Safety Level 4.
The duties of the role include:
Identify and reduce work place hazards
Measure and monitor safety and environmental performance
Trend data to spot and action improvement opportunities
Translate the Group strategy into site objectives and targets, ensuring all are met within given timeframes
Ensure the site complies with all statutory requirements, best practice guidelines and group standards
Support the management team in driving a ‘health and safety conscience’ cultural and behavioural change
The ideal candidate will have:
NEBOSH general certificate (minimum)
IEMA Environmental Management Certificate (or equivalent)
Food Safety Level 4
Experience in FMCG in chilled food manufacturing is desirable
Working knowledge of Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR)
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, using CI tools and techniques
Demonstrates the ability to drive change and deliver on commitments
Experience of building/changing HS&E culture in the workplace
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
