Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to work within a large Financial Services company based in Hull. Our client is looking to appoint a customer service driven individual; to take responsibility for the day to day management of our clients Customer Relations team and act as the initial point of contact for internal /external stakeholders with regards to complaint handling and reporting. 

 

Main Duties:

  • Maintaining an efficient and effective 1st  line of defense complaint handling function.
  • Managing the day to day running of the Customer Relations Team and ensuring the company has a robust complaint handling process including, oversight of corrective actions and  regulatory developments.
  • Delivering timely and effective communication, administration  and consequential management by conducting planned team meetings, case calibrations, 121s and coaching and completing administrative duties related to 121s, client visits, payroll and HR.
  • Representing the Complaint Handling  function at internal and external meetings , audit visits and events as required.
  • Reviewing complaint handling procedures and provide guidance where required across the business.
  • Engaging with internal stakeholders and clients on relevant complaint handling/reporting matters.
  • Ensuring customer journeys across the product lifecycle offer fair outcomes when involving dissatisfaction/complaints.
  • Providing advice to departmental managers to support them in exercising their responsibility for complaint handling.

 

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will if possible demonstrate sound knowledge of the Consumer Credit Industry.
  • Expert knowledge on the FCA DISP complaint handling rules would be advantageous.
  • Candidates must evidence an ability to think objectively, identify effective complaint resolutions and recommend corrective actions for implementation.
  • A proven track record in building and developing effective working relationships at all levels, working with independence and driving a team to perform are essential qualities we will be looking for. 
  • Strong analytical and good Microsoft office skills are also required.

 

 

Hours: 35 hrs a week - Monday to Friday

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: £22,000 to £22,500
