Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to work for a highly successful client of ours on a permanent contract in Dereham.

The ideal candidate must be honest, accurate and willing to go the extra mile. Take ownership with outstanding debts and the ability to meet to tight deadlines. Ideally, the candidate must have at least two years’ experience in a comparable role and preferably some experience with CIS/Subcontractor transactions
Successful candidates must have the following skills and experience:
- Experienced in using Sage software for raising sales invoices
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Touch Typing (desirable)
- Experienced with debt chasing systems, ensuring all invoices are settled within terms
- Experience with retention/MCD
- Ability to set up Credit Accounts, including setting credit limits and payment plans.
- To provide fair payment plans to clients and able to give advice where necessary
- Ability to monitor customer debts and notify Finance Manager
- Processing BACS payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal – to deal with customers and external contacts
- Negotiating skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Identifying potential issues
Hours of work
- This position is a full time position, hours are 07:00am – 16:30pm, Monday –Friday
Rate of pay
- Up to £20.000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
- 20 days’ holiday per year. Closed for Christmas (3 days of entitlement must be used)
- Lunch provided 5 days a week
- Company Events held periodically
