This is our dedicated Candidate Resource Centre with regularly used forms and our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). You can find updated versions of our Candidate forms here to download at any time of the day, please be sure though to select the correct language and timesheet type for the department you are working for.
There are several ways to register, you can register interest in a role (this applies to Business Support, Management, Construction & Engineering positions), or you can register to begin work immediately (this applies to Industrial & Manufacturing and Transport positions).
Registering interest means that your vital information and CV are stored on our bespoke Recruitment system ready for when a vacancy appears and we can contact you to register fully. In this case, you will be invited to interview internally with one of our experienced consultants.
Fully registering means you come to one of our offices and complete paperwork and sign a 'Contract for Service' to begin temporary work.
I have registered, now what?
This all depends on which job you have applied for, and the way you registered.
Business Support, NHS & Public Sector, Construction & Engineering, Management (Temporary and Permanent)
If you have been shortlisted for a particular vacancy, you will be invited for an interview with one of our experienced consultants, who you will liaise with in the future.
Industrial & Manufacturing, Transport & Warehousing, Food Manufacturing & Processing
You will have already met your consultant who will contact you when suitable work arises.
Your consultant has to send you a confirmation prior to your start time/date with this information via either email or text message. It can also be found on your payslip.
This is dependant on where you are working and the terms of your assignment
Of course you can, it has to be authorised on site by the client though and we need sufficient notice in writing (see the above forms). It depends on what the client has agreed to the amount of notice, however it usually works on a 2 week notice period.
This is calculated by our payroll department on request. Please speak to your consultant for more information on this, and to submit a request through to Finance. Usually holidays are calculated as an average of the amount of hours you have worked previously.
This is issued after you have finished working for Prestige Recruitment.
A 'Contract for Service' is not a contract for employment. We are not oblidged to offer a person that signs this contract any hours of work, and equally, they do not have to accept any work offered from us. It is signed prior to a candidate starting an assignment with one of our clients, and it details important information about the rights of an Agency Worker, our obligations as an Employer amongst other things. If you wish to see our Contract for Service please contact one of our Consultants. Contract for Service is in place only for our Temporary Agency Workers.
